Canine & Feline Healthcare

Healthcare Throughout Your Pet's Life
At The Cat & Dog Clinic, your pet’s health is our priority which is why we strive to combine the best medicine, patient care and owner services possible. We custom design health and wellness plans based on you and your pet’s unique needs factoring in their life stage, environment, behavior, disease/parasite exposure, and nutritional needs. We emphasize preventative medicine to keep your pet healthy and utilize curative treatments and procedures as the keys to your pet’s health. With respect and compassion, we also develop palliative care plans for the benefit of pets and owners, too.

Wellness and Prevention
The purpose of wellness visits and preventative care is to best support the longest and healthiest lives possible for your pet in conjunction with meeting your needs, too. With your input, we develop examination plans, vaccine protocols, lab testing schedules, and preventative treatment plans that are specific for your pet's needs.

Wellness and preventative care includes physical examinations, preventative medications and immunizations and early disease detection. Preventative medications and immunizations include internal and external parasite prevention and treatment, and vaccinations to protect your pet against viruses and other diseases in the environment.

A one-on-one personal consultation with
our veterinarian allows you to address your pet concerns and treatment options.
At The Cat & Dog Clinic, you and your pet will receive the benefit of more than
fifteen years of clinical experience.

An additional area of wellness and prevention is early disease identification which includes blood testing and urine and stool sample evaluations. This allows us to assess your pet’s health beyond what we can see, hear, or feel during a physical exam or routine check-up. This type of testing and evaluation allows the veterinarian to “look inside” your pet and determine if major organs are functioning properly. Early disease detection is important in pets, much like humans. The earlier a problem is detected, the more likely veterinary intervention will be successful and less costly. Our goal is to help educate you about the risks to your pet and to provide the best recommendations to keep your pet healthy and safe.

When Your Pet is Not Feeling Well…
We understand illnesses and accidents are never planned and our furry friends get ill just like we do. That is why, if your pet is sick, our goal is to see you the same day as you call us. In addition, we offer a convenient morning drop-off service for your sick pet that allows us to care for your pet while you keep up with your busy work, school or lifestyle demands.

Our full-service veterinary hospital is dedicated to giving your pet the finest veterinary medical care. But, no one knows a pet better than its owner. If your cat or dog throws up, has loose stools, acts lethargic and demonstrates unusual behavior, it is usually a sign of illness. To eliminate any doubts about a possible infection or disease, we encourage you to schedule an appointment with our office as soon as possible. Our team of caring veterinary professionals is committed to serving every one of your pet’s needs by offering treatment in all forms from wellness visits, to urgent care visits or house calls.

For your convenience, drop-off sick pet
